Terms & Conditions
A provisional booking becomes a firm booking and a legally binding contract upon completion of the booking form and payment of the non refundable deposit.
CHANGE-OVER DAY.
All properties are let from Friday to Friday unless otherwise agreed (out of season).
PAYMENT DETAILS.
Bookings are made on the signed booking form and is secured by a non-refundable deposit of one quarter of the rental charge (25%). The remaining balance plus a refundable damage deposit of £500.00 is to be paid 6 weeks prior to the commencement of your stay. If a booking is made less than 6 weeks before the holiday commences then the full rental charge is due at the time of booking along with a refundable damage deposit of £500.00.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE.
Your holiday will commence on a Friday at 4pm and end at 10am on the last day - unless notified otherwise. Departure time must be strictly observed, our cleaners will arrive onsite at 10am so please make sure all of your belongings are no longer in the property and they have full access at that time.
BREAKAGES, DAMAGES & BOND.
The guest undertakes to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition. A Security Bond Deposit of £500.00 is taken for each booking. This is held to cover any costs of repairs, replacements or additional cleaning charges if the property is left in an unsatisfactory condition. Please report any breakages, damage or failure of equipment immediately, so that it may be replaced or repaired as soon as possible. Guests are obligated to pay for any loss or damage to the property however caused (reasonable wear and tear is expected) unless the cost of making good such loss can be fully recovered on our household insurance. If there are no problems, the Damage Deposit will be returned within 14 days of the end of the rental period.
OCCUPANCY.
The property should only be used for the number of guests outlined on this booking form and guests must notify us of any intention to invite additional guests to stay overnight. The property must not exceed maximum occupancy at any time without prior notice given. ie. Private chef/catering for a Party must be agreed by both Guest and owner. We do not accept bookings from any person aged under 18 or large same sex groups without prior communication.
BED LINEN & TOWELS.
All the bedrooms are designed for comfort with sprung mattresses and Egyptian cotton sheets. Hypoallergenic bedding, bath robes and cot bedding can be provided on request. Each property is decorated on a different theme including antique furniture, quilts and throws. While we do provide bath towels & beach towels, you will need to bring your own off-season please. Cots and high chairs are also available upon request at time of booking at no extra charge.
DOG OWNERS.
If you’re considering bringing your dog please consult us first for permission before each visit. The guest will be liable for all additional costs of repairs, replacements and extra cleaning resulting from their pets. Pets must not be allowed to climb on the furniture nor enter into any bedrooms. The standard fee for a dog is £100 for every 7 nights. In the event of damage caused by a pet or the need for deep cleaning as a result of occupation by a pet an extra charge will be made. Please ensure your dog is up-to-date with any vaccinations. Please do not leave dogs unattended in the property. The two beaches at Trevone Bay are Trevone and Newtrain. Dogs are permitted on Newtrain all year round but there is a seasonal ban on Trevone Beach from Easter – September.
LOGS & FIREPLACE.
The first baskets of logs, firelighters and kindling are provided free of charge. In the Autumn and winter you can enjoy stormy seas and log fires!
CANCELLATION & INSURANCE.
If for any reason beyond the owner’s control (e.g. fire damage) the property is not available on the date booked (but not limited to rules or lockdowns issues by the government), all deposits and rental down payments will be refunded in full but the clients shall have no further claim. We advise you to obtain your own holiday insurance to cover any unfortunate or unforeseen circumstances. They will reimburse you for the rent paid, or the balance of rent due, so that you suffer no financial loss.
Guests are asked to not to cause any unreasonable noise or disturbance that may constitute an annoyance to the residents of the adjoining properties. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any booking where a guests behaviour is deemed, in their reasonable opinion, either aggressive or unnecessarily anti-social in any way.
SMOKING.
No smoking is permitted inside the property. You may smoke outside if necessary but please remove all debris.
PARKING.
Please contact us about parking, depending on which property you are renting, some properties have an assigned space. For example, The Net Loft has its own private parking space.
CLEANING.
The apartments are cleaned to a high standard before your arrival. We request that you please leave the property and all equipment (cookers, hobs, dishwashers, fridges etc) empty on departure.
BINS & RECYCLING.
Please ensure all waste from the property is correctly placed in the bins & recycling areas. They are collected every Friday morning.
